Me and My Place

Headspace 7: Me and My Place, the seventh in the National Portrait Gallery's series of student exhibitions, will be presented at Commonwealth Place. Me and My Place is the curatorial theme for the 2006 exhibition. The works on display are student's visual interpretations of this theme: how they see themselves and the 'place' they occupy in the world. The Headspace project, now in its seventh year, aims to expand students' understanding of portraiture and invites them to explore its possibilities as an art form for the expression of ideas.
