Nathan Kelly

b. 1976

Nathan Kelly (b. 1976), photographer, studied fine arts at the University of Sydney before being named as one of Australia's top 30 photography graduates by Australian Commercial Photography magazine. He collaborated with his brother Brett Kelly on Collective Wisdom (1998), a book of interviews with prominent Australians for which he provided the photographs. He has tackled portrait subjects as diverse as Cardinal Clancy, Nick Cave and Anthony Warlow. He has worked for Mushroom Records, the Bell Shakespeare Company and the Sydney City mission amongst many corporate and theatrical clients. The National Portrait Gallery acquired his photographs of John Gorton in 2002, and Mark and Nick Seymour in 2005.
