Grand Slam Goolagong by Alana (8-11 years, VIC)

Drawing
Grand Slam Goolagong
I choose Evonne for my piece because she is a woman who has inspired me in fighting for what is right. Evonne was the first Indigenous tennis player in the Australian Open. She joined at 16 years old and was already fighting for Aboriginal rights on and off the court. If I had to give Evonne an award I would give her a made up award that I like to call the courageous believer award. I would give her this award because it literally describes her as a person.
