My Awesome Australian: Online exhibition

Adam Goodes by Manny (8-11 years, VIC)

Drawing
Adam Goodes
The reason that I chose Adam Goodes is because when someone kicked a goal, Adam ran down the sideline and someone called him an ape. Adam didn't hesitate and he took that to heart and got the security involved. The person that called him an ape was a girl below the age of 12, Adam is an Aboriginal and Australian so he didn’t hesitate for anything because he wanted to take matters into his own hand. Adam Goodes is one of the best acts of racism that will be mentioned every time racism comes up.
