Anna Frances Walker (1830–1913), botanical artist and collector, was one of the thirteen children of Thomas Walker, a high-ranking colonial public servant, and his wife Anna Elizabeth, the daughter of merchant and landowner John Blaxland.

Anna Sande is a Victorian painter, photographer, curator and writer. With qualifications in art history and political science from the University of Melbourne, she was co-founder and joint co-ordinator of the Women's Art Register Extension Project, established at Carringbush Library in 1977 and now a substantial reference resource on women’s art work.
