Writer, director and cinematographer Randall Wood is based in Brisbane. Wood has worked on numerous documentaries, including Changing Justice, which won an ATOM Award, Goori Goori Dreaming for ABC Television, Selo Selo Bigfala Canoe and the Film Australia series Downunder Grads, developed for SBS Independent. An Australian Cinematography Society awardwinning cinematographer, Wood has shot two feature-length dramas for independent Pacific Island distribution and worked for Scarabee Films in Rotterdam, Big Island Pictures, Freshwater Productions, SBSi, ABC TV, TV ASHAI, Nippon TV and BBC3. In 2004, he graduated from a year of advanced study in feature film scriptwriting and directing at the Maurits Binger Film Lab in Amsterdam. In 2008, Wood's half-hour documentary Rare Chicken Rescue won the Dendy Award for Best Documentary at the Sydney Film Festival and was nominated for two ATOM Awards and Best Documentary at the AFI Awards.
