Peter English was an RAAF photographer from the early 1950s onward, taking air and ground photographs in Australia and Malaya. Later, he worked for the Nine network as a TV cameraman and stills photographer. From the late 1950s he was head of Nine’s photography department. He took the photograph of Graham Kennedy as a publicity shot for Channel Nine.
