Sir Alexander Fuller-Acland-Hood Bart MP (1853-1917) was MP for West Somerset from 1892 to 1911, when he was created Lord St Audries. Educated at Eton, Oxford and Sandhurst, he served with the Grenadier Guards in Egypt before becoming aide-de-camp to the governor of Victoria. Research has not so far yielded further information on his career in Australia.
