Don Walker, 2006

by Nathan David Kelly

National Photographic Portrait Prize 2007 Finalist

Don Walker, former member of Cold Chisel and prolific song writer, sat for this portrait at Johnno's Blues Bar in Cairns. Walker's lyrics often delve into the darker side of Australian life in the suburbs and I thought it would be fitting to create a dark and ominous vision of Don.
