My Awesome Australian: Online exhibition

I painted my grandpa in acrylic paint for this portrait and I wanted to convey his beliefs and commitment to Catholicism. I painted a gold halo around his head to symbolise his commitment to the Church and his love for religion as he has grown up with it and volunteers a lot at the Church. My grandpa has always been there to help out with homework or even just educating my brother and I on his life and the culture of living in Malta, as he originated from there. He's always around to help my mum out when she can't take my brother and I to our extracurricular activities and does his best to spend time with us. I would give him an award it would be "The grandpa with much wisdom and help to share".
