My Awesome Australian: Online exhibition

Dr. John Yu by David (8-11 years, NSW)

Dr. John Yu
Dr. John Yu is a very successful retired paediatrician and hospital administrator. I chose him as my awesome Australian because he has achieved many awards over the years. For many years he chaired and served of diverse bodies related to children’s health. He worked at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for children for many years and he served as the chief executive for 19 years before retiring in 1997. He should be acknowledged for all the help he gave to the children. He is currently 90 years old. I would give him the children’s help award for carving a bright future
