Heart of the Harbour by Kristina (12-15 years, ACT)

Heart of the Harbour
My grandpa is always ready to lend a helping hand in the community, and the way he cares for others truly inspires me. Every morning, he goes for a walk with a small bag, carefully picking up rubbish that others have carelessly left behind. He believes that even simple actions, like keeping the streets tidy, can make the environment healthier and more welcoming for everyone. Grandpa also helps our neighbors whenever they need it. If someone’s lawn has grown too long, he cheerfully brings out the mower and does the work with patience and pride. At home, he spreads happiness
