My Awesome Australian: Online exhibition

Chris, the lollipop lady by Olive (8-11 years, VIC)

Drawing
Chris, the lollipop lady
This is a picture of Chris, our awesome traffic controller, also called the “lollipop lady” because her stop sign looks like a giant lollipop! She’s super nice and helps us cross the street safely every day, even when it’s raining, hailing, or freezing! Chris never misses a day and always has a big smile. She even dresses up for Halloween and Christmas, which makes us all excited to see what she’ll wear next. If I could give her an award, it would be the Safety Hero Award because she keeps us safe no matter what the weather is like!
