Since 2013, Harding’s sat in on many rehearsals and performances by the Sydney Theatre Company, drawing in a fever. In his studio are many books full of vivacious, potent images from productions including Waiting for Godot, Macbeth, Cyrano de Bergerac, Endgame and more. In this quick sketch Geoffrey Rush AC rehearses the title role in Neil Armfield’s King Lear in 2015. On the opposite page is Max Cullen, who played Gloucester, with Wade Briggs at the rear.
