Patrick Lichty is a conceptual artist, independent curator, animator, writer and editor based in the United States. He has been producing technological media art since 1989; his works and writing explore socialbetween people and technology. His work has been displayed at the Whitney and Venice Biennales as well as the International Symposium on the Electronic Arts (ISEA). He works extensively with virtual worlds, including Second Life. With the avatar name of Man Michinaga, he is one of the founding members of the performance art collective Second Front, whose performances have been shown live in galleries and museums around the world.
