oil pastel on cardboard
Year 9, Woonona High School, Woonona
This work is a representation of myself as a happy and outgoing teenager who has not yet confirmed her identity. Every individual is made up of multiple dimensions which when juxtaposed create different personalities and character traits. During the teenage years, these dimensions are often distorted by a range of factors that impact on personality and character development. It is these distortions that create our unique identities. The distortion seen in this work will be recollected at some point in the future as a memory of a specific moment that was evident in my teenage years.
