My aim for this portrait was to create a reflection of my own emotions, expressed so they would be widely interpreted by all my viewers. I was initially going to focus on feelings of fear and entrapment. As I continued, I became more interested in representing feelings of self doubt. I found correlations between these and other emotions as I brainstormed, so I went with that in my drawing.
