I wanted to explore underwater digital photography. The idea came from the feeling of complete peace that washes over you when submersed in water. The floating material added a mystical appearance. My model took on the role of a modern-day mermaid. There is a huge amount of grace involved in my mermaid photos, as I wanted to portray someone at true peace. To be at true peace you have to value little, and let the water wash your troubles away.
