I made my self portrait using a range of lead pencils. I had a black and white photo of me printed on a piece of A4 paper. I decided to draw my Year 1 school photo, since it was my favourite one. I put a 2 cm grid on my printed A4 photo and a 4 cm grid on my A2 piece of cartridge paper. By using that grid I drew my picture while using as much tone as I could.
