The National Photographic Portrait Prize exhibition is selected from a national field of entries, reflecting the distinctive vision of Australia's aspiring and professional portrait photographers and the unique nature of their subjects. The finalists for 2023 are:

The winner will be announced at the exhibition launch on the 16th of June 2023.

Prizes

The winner will nab a $30,000 cash prize from us AND photographic equipment courtesy of our Imaging Partner, Canon Australia. There are a raft of other prizes too, including Highly Commended supported by EIZO and an Art Handlers' Award thanks to IAS Fine Art Logistics.
