Other nearby parking locations

When the National Portrait Gallery's underground car park is full, there are several other nearby options for parking.

On the weekend free parking is available around the John Gorton building which is located on the other side of King Edward Terrace from the National Portrait Gallery. It is approximately 400m walking distance to the Gallery.

Questacon and the National Library also have large outdoor car parks which are around 500–600m walking distance from the Gallery.
