Take a break from the hustle and bustle of Winter fest and relax in the Gallery's Chill Zone. Winter themed books and atmospheric short films provided.

Ice Sculptures
Watch the live carving of three ice sculptures. Inspired by work from our Collection. These works will come to life over the course of the day.

Woolly wonderland
Canberra artist, Dan Edwards, will guide you to create your own woolly winter snowflakes and show you how to knit with needles, your fingers and arms!

Start knitting! Bring along your knitted socks, scarves and gloves to warm up and decorate the Gallery hall. Our friends at Vinnies and their Night Patrol Van will be at the Gallery to collect your knitted donations. More details here.
