Weave hustle and halt
Inspired by Dempsey’s street people, Australian Dance Party surveys the activity, characters and rhythms of the modern-day streetscape. Experience the personas of nine dancers as they saunter, dash and dawdle along the paved entrance of the Gallery. They raise the question – what has changed about how people move and intersect in the street today? Dance artists: Philip Piggin, Jane Ingall, Alison Plevey, Olivia Fyfe, Ursula Taylor, Eve Buckmaster, Natsuko Yonezawa, Caspar Ilschner and Milly Vanzwol.
