Join us in the Gallery with artist Minna Gilligan for a creative workshop exploring the story telling powers of colour and collage. Hear about Minna’s arts practice before creating your own narrative portrait focusing on composition, collage, mood and identity.
Minna Gilligan is a Melbourne-based artist who works primarily with painting, drawing and collage. Her works are eerie playgrounds of colour, usually inhabited by lone protagonists trapped in states of longing, sadness or exhalation. Minna exhibits nationally and internationally; and from 2011 – 2018 illustrated for ROOKIE, American actor Tavi Gevinson’s online magazine.
