Artist John Young discusses his figurative, abstract and textual projects which have been realised in the last decade. While these projects re-imagine events and subjectivities, recently they address the history of the Chinese diaspora. As ever in his work, these projects implicitly address the urgent issues of time, speed, the transcultural and ethics.
