- It came at a time when, you know, we're all questioning our mortality, things are happening in the world. And I was really just, you know, wondering what sort of world we're leaving to our kids. And yeah, look, I posed her in our hallway, in her pyjamas, you know? I wanted to get that dream state in between sleep and awake. I was quite surprised at how it came out, you know? It fell into place really well. Yeah, look, I was shocked and amazed that I got into the competition in the first place, And yeah, look, mind's absolutely blown to be here tonight. So yeah. Yeah, look, this is her bun. She would sleep with that every night, you know? She's had it since day one, and, yeah, she goes everywhere with it. We've brought it up here to Canberra with us, you know? Bunny goes everywhere. Yeah, look, in Tasmania we had a short period of hard lockdown, but it was painted at a time when I'd finally decided to get serious about painting. Given up my day job. So, I worked for many years as a mechanic and just noodled with painting. And then, yeah, these last couple of years, I've been serious about it and taught myself some skills.
