COVID Self portrait 2, 2020

Glenn Morgan

Darling Portrait Prize 2022 Finalist

This self portrait is more about my feelings of frustration with bloody COVID-19 than my visual appearance. Over the last couple of years I believe Dan Andrew's Victorian government has done a good job managing this crisis with all its twists and turns but by God it's been a bloody frustrating time.

Life just gets back to normal or COVID-19 normal and bang we are back in lockdown. I found it hard work and at times exasperating. Luckily for us artists, we have our studios to retreat to. Thank goodness for that.
