Just Romeo and Juliet!

Saturday 22 May 2021
11:00am – 12:00pm AEST

Bookings essential

$25 / $22 Circle of Friends / $5 Under 18
All adult tickets include a ticket to the Australian Love Stories exhibition valid for any day.

To celebrate our Australian Love Stories exhibition, we’ve partnered with Bell Shakespeare to bring you and your little ones the greatest love story ever told. Just Romeo and Juliet! is perfect for those just starting out on their Shakespeare journeys (think primary school aged kids) but is enjoyable for any age.

Once you’ve laughed your pants off, visit the Australian Love Stories exhibition to check out love in all its guises.

When Andy unwittingly auditions for a school production of Romeo and Juliet, he gets more than he bargained for. Featuring Shakespeare’s original language within a madcap adventure, follow Andy, Danny and Lisa as they rehearse the greatest love story ever known with hilarious results. It’s Andy Griffiths’ beloved humour in a rollicking tale of Shakespearean proportions.

Performance time is 50 minutes followed by 10 minute Q&A.
