Join us each Thursday for the a brand new series of live, online tours-with-a-difference! During September, members of our curatorial team are busily hanging up green screen fabric around their living rooms and bedrooms to bring our portrait collection to wherever you are (think; The Matrix, only more aesthetically pleasing…)

In the very strange land where portraiture meets Choose Your Own Adventure meets Six Degrees of Separation meets Australian Idol, there you will find our Curator, Exhibitions; Penny Grist. Travel with us, absolutely live on screen, as Penny tells the story and you vote for where to go next. Discover the surprising and intriguing connections between the lives of the great Australians and take Penny along with you on an adventure through the NPG collection.
