Have you been feeling a bit ho hum lately? Fidgety one minute and a bit down the next? There are a lot of us like that, even when we’re not in lockdown! Why not join us as we settle ourselves by using all of our senses creatively? You won’t have to think or use your imagination – like a true Zen guru!

How? We’ll enjoy activities that use relaxation, movement and the visual meditative process. Being creative helps us to remain in the moment and keep our minds from wondering from past to future, which can be exhausting and hard to stop.

Materials and helpful hints:

  • Have some paper and a pencil or pen ready.
  • Choose a comfortable, quiet space where you won’t get distracted. If that’s tricky, headphones might help.
  • Close any curtains or turn off the lights – of course, be sure you can still see what you are doing! And us!

Made possible with funds donated by Tim Fairfax AC.
