From 27 April 2008 the National Portrait Gallery will vacate its current premises at Old Parliament House in preparation for relocation to the new National Portrait Gallery building in the Parliamentary Zone.  A new and dynamic suite of exhibitions, student programs, public lectures and workshops will commence in the new building when it opens in December 2008.
