Finalists
The National Portrait Gallery would like to thank everyone who submitted photographs for the Prize.
The quality of the submissions was exceptional which made it a difficult task for the three judges to reduce the overall pool to the final forty six portraits for the exhibition. The winning portrait will be announced at the exhibition launch at the National Portrait Gallery.
The National Photographic Portrait Prize is an annual event intended to promote the very best in contemporary photographic portraiture by both professional and aspiring Australian photographers. With the generous support of VISA, the Gallery is offering a prize of $25,000 for the most outstanding photographic portrait.
PLEASE NOTE: At all stages, the decision of the judges is final and no discussion will be entered into.
