National Photographic Portrait Prize 2010 Learning Resource
The National Photographic Portrait Prize 2010 is on display at the National Portrait Gallery from 5 March to 2 May 2010. The exhibition is touring to four regional venues throughout 2010 and 2011: Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and Mosman Art Gallery.

The National Photographic Portrait Prize 2009 was held at the National Portrait Gallery during Autumn 2009. The exhibition is touring to five regional venues: Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery, Redland Art Gallery, Noosa Regional Gallery, Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum, and the Queensland University of Technology Art Museum.

'Two Painters' by Christopher Chapman
The history of the Papunya settlement and the establishment of the Papunya Tula artists co-op sets the context for the development of George Tjungurrayi's innovative and bold paintings, often referencing the Tingari story. Matthys Gerber has an international reputation as a painter who has worked in the tradition of landscape, portraiture and abstraction. These two artists come together in a portrait.
