Over the last five years the National Portrait Gallery has developed a collection of portrait photographs that reflects both the strength and diversity of Australian achievement as well as the talents of our photographers. The exhibition Depth of Field showcases the Gallery’s collection of twentieth and twenty-first century portrait photographs organised around key themes - the worlds of art and architecture, politics and public life, literature, entertainment, music and sport.
