A workshop with Sarah Rice
Join poet and scholar Sarah Rice for a special masterclass on poetry as portraiture. This workshop will continue on from some of the points of discussion covered in the first workshop, and concentrate on identity in extremis (representing the unrepresentable), memory, memorial, death, trauma, madness, and focus more attention on some of the questions and theories of identity that were raised: humanism, post-structuralism, performativity, existentialism, psychoanalysis etc). It will also include more writing and drawing exercises.
One hour break for lunch.
